This work acts as an experiment to explore ideas concerning object relations. I posed the question,  What characteristics make an object identifiable? What in fact makes an object?  Using the simple cup as my tool, I provided three scenarios; broken, a silhouette and the sounds of interaction through pouring and drinking. Each display does not hold the true object in its full form and function,  yet associations still claims the object as such.
